The kids have completed 8th grade and each have an A average. Our first year of homeschooling has taught us so much about ourselves. We are excited to complete two summer reading assignments, each focusing on the journey of other missionaries.
We have completed our first year of language studies with emphasis on grammar. Language class will resume in September. Our second year we will focus on speaking. The kids will start their first year of language in September. Bryan will also resume college classes in the fall. This summer our language goal is to have courage to speak, speak, and speak some more.

Glancing Back &
The last few weeks have been busy with studying and final exams for the kids. We enjoyed a visit with Candra and discussed the details of her move this summer.
In May we had some special guests, Bro. Buddy and Bro. Eric Johnson. We enjoyed our fellowship and spent many hours discussing our future church plant.
We are spending more time with the kids in our village. We met with Nelu, a Roma man whose home we will begin weekly bible studies in this August.
This week we are making final arrangements for church camp, the VSM Team and Candra’s move to the field. We are so blessed and excited to have these opportunities.
Above: These sweet girls sure did enjoy learning about the 1 lost sheep.
Below: Our ministry team picture. We were so excited to have had Candra with us for a few days!!!
Above: In May we took some of the Roma teens for pizza. We shared our testimonies and our vision for a church plant. We listened to some of their testimonies and the ways they could be a part of the church. We are excited to get to know these students more.
Below: We spent one evening with Missionaries, Larry & Tammy Wood from Ukraine. I love the way God has connected our families.
