So wonderful to have our daughter Kelsey and Son-in-law Josh meet us in Columbia, Missouri. Kelsey works for a marketing firm, Josh is a church administer for the Crossing Church. We’ve had a very busy March leading up to departure for the US. Senior recitals, juries, Baccalaureate, banquets, graduation. Sometimes just getting ready to leave is more work than the trip itself.
We headed to the airport right after graduation. Flew to Manila, over to Cebu and then a 12 hour lay over in Shanghai, China.
Finally boarding our long haul flight (15 hours) to Chicago – then short flight over to Columbia.
Keep up with our furlough travels and come see us if you can.

The past year and a half have been so incredible. God, our Amazing God, has done amazing things. Thanks to our God using us in His great adventure to take His saving grace to every tongue, tribe and nation. You’ve been part of this journey too, helping us fulfill His mission with your prayers and financial support. While on furlough we will work to promote God’s work to the nations visiting churches in 9 states, thanking you for your prayers and support and working to raise the funds needed to continue. Besides our personal support needs we will highlight the needs of the Bible College for tuition and much needed improvements and renovation of our campus dorms.

Along with our campus missionary Dr. Alicia Samson, part of my work involves helping our students to be healthy. This past month we finished projects installing screens in both girl’s and boy’s dorms. This helps in preventing Dengue fever, a viral disease spread by mosquitos. We also help with some of the usual scrapes, cuts, colds and sore throats. Our dorms need a lot of improvements and upgrades. The dorms need lots of attention, especially the restrooms. Help us make the lives of these future missionaries, church planters, pastors, teachers and church workers have a better life while on campus. Like the Shunamite woman in 2 Kings 4 we just want to provide a little place of comfort for these servants of God to live before they head out taking the Gospel all over the world.
As missionaries we do want to thank everyone and every church who supported World Missions Day. Missionaries from the Philippines are putting a display table together for the BMA Association in Jackson, Mississippi. Please drop by and visit us. Stan & Donna Missionaries to the Philippines
